TPLO Demonstration Model

    High polymer plastic.  The Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy model graphically demonstrates cranial tibial thrust and correction by Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy.  By changing the placement of the dowel pin, the model mimics the biomechanical forces present in the canine stifle.  Three angles are demonstrated: excessive slope of the tibial plateau requiring a TPLO and CCWO, tibial plateau slope found in most breeds requiring a TPLO, and the slope angle after a TPLO has been performed.  Includes color illustrations and written information of "Wagon on a Hill" metaphor and Meniscal Release technique.  Comes fully assembled.  U.S. Patent No. 6,468,087 and 6,942,488 B2
